Quirantes Orthopedics is Hiring a Referral Coordinator Near Miami, FL
We are an orthotic and prosthetic facility and are looking to hire a referral coordinator for our front office.
Salary and Benefits:
-$16-$18 Hourly depending on experience
-Paid vacation, personal time and holidays
Requirements:
-Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:30pm
-High School Diploma or equivalent
-Clean driver’s license/background check (HIPAA requires a background check)
-3 months experience in a medical office and to be familiar with HCPCS and ICD-10 codes
-Fully bilingual (English & Spanish)
-Friendly and professional demeanor
-Ability to learn medical software programs
-Able to work independently and as a team
Job Description:
-Communicate with doctor offices
-Interview patients and determine needs
-Scan paperwork and insurance information into the computer
-Document insurance information on our office management billing software
-Make third party payer eligibility and verification of benefits phone calls
-Answer and direct phone calls
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
